Green for go in the sporting sense, too

Visitors to Wolfsburg are frequently amazed at the wonderful forests, wide stretches of meadows and picturesque lakes and ponds right within the city limits. From everywhere in town you can set off for a jogging run, a cycle tour or a hike into the green spaces to refresh both mind and body.

An excursion into the Allerpark is all that its idyllic location promises: great bathing fun for the big and the little ones and a wide range of sports facilities across all age groups.
The Wakepark here probably boasts the finest waterskiing facility in Germany. The cableway on the 30-hectare artificial lake is 568 metres in length and on account of its moderate circuit length is highly suitable even for beginners and children.
The SoccaFive Arena in the Allerpark is one of Germany's best Soccer halls. Five indoor courts and an open-air pitch make this facility into a real adventure park in which anything is possible: kicking around just for fun or competitive training.
In the big Kindersportwelt (Children's Sporting World), both boys and girls feel at home. The monster slide and the multi-coloured climbing tower which looks like a labyrinth, the go-cart track and the giant trampoline are just a few of the highlights which get the kids going.

The new BadeLand (poolscape), with its 50-metre sports pool, 3,000 sq.m. of water surface and 2,400 sq.m. of sauna landscape provide sport, fun and relaxation.

The directly adjacent EisArena (Ice Arena) is an inviting venue in winter for ice skating or watching ice-hockey games. And even if the Bundesliga football team VfL Wolfsburg are not playing at home in the VOLKSWAGEN ARENA, it is worth taking a look behind the scenes in this magnificent stadium.
