The Wolfsburg phaeno is a fascinating place, where the world of the sciences and the urge to try things out come together.

In the Autostadt, the 25-hectare park and lake landscape invite you to discover the story and the world of the automobile.

And Lower Saxony's only major planetarium communicates valuable information on astronomy and astronautics in daily shows and demonstrations.

There is also a great deal to discover in the city centre: Am Klieversberg is the home of the Kunstmuseum, where both modern and contemporary art are on display. The modern theatre offers a programme of concerts, opera, straight theatre and ballet of world-class quality, and even the big stars feel at home at the large Congress-Park venue.

It is also worth taking excursions with the city of Wolfsburg as a centre; to the Drömling nature reserve, the Lüneburg Heath, the Elm or to Braunschweig, each of which places possesses its own special charm. And Hannover, the capital of the state of Lower Saxony, is also only 35 minutes away by rail.
