Plenty of space for games: The youth hostel is located in grounds of 35,000 square metres outside of town and directly adjacent to the Mecklenbruch nature reserve.

Thanks to the spacious accommodation and attractive facilities, visits by not only school field-centre groups and families but also by educational and music groups become lasting success stories.

Our hostel has been awarded the certificate "GUT DRAUF-Jugendunterkunft" (approx. "Young People's Accommodation IN GREAT SHAPE"), the concept for which was developed in conjunction with the Bundeszentrale für gesundheitliche Aufklärung (BzgA – Federal Centre for Health Education). The scheme is based on establishing the connection between healthy eating, a harmonious hostel and group atmosphere and stress-reducing relaxation and exercise offers.
