A lot of space for romping around

Our spacious open grounds provide great scope for relaxation and letting one's hair down, with table-tennis tables, beach-volleyball court, children's playground, grill lodges and direct access to the moorland river Örtze with the hostel's own private sandy beach.

The River-Forest-Adventure Trail which runs right past the hostel offers a great opportunity for walks and enjoyment of the countryside.

In addition, on set baking days, you can watch the village baker at work in our in-house historic stone bakery.

On rainy days, you can take advantage of our big and spacious hall with separate seating areas to relax and play games. It goes without saying that table soccer, billiards, table tennis and parlour games are also on offer.

To round off your stay with us you can spend your final evening in our party cellar, which is equipped with a music and lights system. On request, we are also pleased to provide a TV set with a video/DVD player in the main lounge.
