Amid heather and trees: The youth hostel is located at the edge of town in 16,000 sq.m. of mixed-woodland grounds.

As a culture|youth hostel, it offers ideal accommodation for school classes, as well as for music, confirmation and youth groups.

To provide variety, excitement and experience-oriented learning, we have "Stone-Age Camps" with mammoth hunts, "Exploration Adventures" in Hankensbüttel, "Kite Magic" with self-built kites and not least activities under the motto "If I were an otter ..." on the lifestyle of the otter.

It goes without saying that individual guests, families, as well as seminar, hiking and sports groups are also warmly welcome.
